Both won two, lost two and drawn one of their last five games, but our last two games have been lost whereas Reading have a win then a draw in their last two. We also sit only one place and one point above Reading. I'm hoping that Clement (their manager) has a soft spot for QPR and might give us a chance, given his Dad, played 472 games for QPR between 1965 and 1979. Their striker Jón Dadi Bödvarsson, has an impressive 6 goals already this season so he is certainly one to watch out for. I'll post full team news when it is on the official, but also worth noting that for those who can't make it, you can watch this game on QPR+ in the UK, not just abroad. Worryingly I'm giving a lift to / from the match to a Reading supporting colleague He may not be getting a lift back
The great Michael Meaker is the first player who comes to mind as having played for both clubs for some reason.
I have decided to have a few beers before to numb the body just in case we play crap. What I am not looking forward to is their weird looking fans to our right. Last time I went they spent the whole match going 'Aaaaghhh' after every chant. Funny club. Jamie Cureton played for bot hso did Simon Osborne,Ferdinand and the big defender that wore that brown headband. went to them after? Mackie/Les went on loan (which is only blip in Les career).
Yes as it’s Reading and I’ll be there. If last season is anything to go by we should be played off the park for 90 minutes and win 1-0.
Yup I will be there...in fact I plan to see all the October matches. I want a 100% win month....and if that keeps Steevee in a job all well and good because he will deserve it...I don't care who manages us when we are winning. Unfortunately I fear for the completely opposite result.if that happens I will be the loudest voice demanding the departure of Steevee. Obviously there is a middle road, but with the team playing as they are...I fear tonight will be painful.. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Yes Gaz you should always want your team to win...always. It will all come out of the wash over the season amnd if he aint good enough he will go. Also think about the poor souls who will be travelling all over to want us to win. They don't deserve another crap game. On a personal note, this game is quite local for me and I have to put up with their weird plastic fans who are jealous of QPR. This is their cup final and already they are saying they will beat us 3-0. Funnily 2 weeks ago they all wanted Clement out and after a couple of wins they think they are Chelsea (well the fans do, but you can't tell the difference). Tonight I hope we shut up that silly bunch of muppets that sit to our right, and hopefully another Routledge moment to see the usual fire drill. Come on you R's And if we embarrass ourselves....
I just don’t want to see all 3 of Hemed, Eze and Freeman starting Then the shape will be better If we see more of Hall and Goss that too will be progress Anyone know an update on Furlong?
I'm getting to the stage of thinking meh!!!!!! If there was anything decent on the box tonight I'd be tempted to give this one a miss, but as there isn't........
