Actually on topic for a moment though.

The annoyance is that Sunderland look to me as though they are playing some of their best football of the season but don't have the correct mentality to finish games off. Yes it's too little too late but if it can sow the seeds for something next season then it's better than just stopping. 6 points dropped in the last 3 games from winning positions is a killer but at least the team are showing the ability to get into those positions.

If/ When you go down I reckon it does matter how this season has finished. The fans need to see some devotion and effort from the players and at the moment I think they're performing in a manner of speaking.

Aye I think you're right, we've looked down points wise most of the season but if we stick with Coleman and keep the players who are actually ours then we've got a much better chance of hitting the ground running next season. We've been in a state of shock since Moyes failed but reality has hit them now.

Who relegated you from the Premiership between Newcastle (who by seemingly unanimous agreement denied you six points by being in a lower league) and the smoggies (who despite their 5 wins in the entire season did a double against you)?

It is really tough making some choices our neighbours are forced to make.
Beat us 6 in a row in a process of relegating us as a results denying themselves 6 easy points which in turn relagates them!

It will be a hell of a long time before we lose a derby game, so 7 years and counting plus the 6 on the trot will never be beaten

Given the human race may go on for countless millenia it always amazes me when people are so keen to use the word never to explain an unlikely occurrence. Newcastle won 5 in a row just a few years previously. Will it be repeated in our lifetimes? Probably not but I'm more interested in whether my team will ever actually win anything in my lifetime. Probably not, but you can have 20 wins in a row if my team can have just one ****ing league cup.

Would like to know which mod it was as it certainly wasn’t me. I’m dead against anything like that but it’s been edited silently which means I can’t see it

I'm not saying it isn't funny just that I don't think I have it in me to laugh about it. There's still an element of denial which was going strong until that second Reading goal.
