QPR are back in League action on tonight as the R’s make the short trip down the M4 to take on Reading live on Sky Sports.

Both teams suffered defeats in the cup at the weekend and now only have the Championship to focus on. Reading are flying high in third place whereas Rangers find themselves in 15th but are coming off the back of two straight wins.

Reading, under Dutchman Jaap Stam, have been extremely consistent this season. Their attractive free-flowing style of play has brought many plaudits and more importantly points. They’ve been especially dominant at home, picking up 27 points with only Brighton securing more.

The Royals have lost just three of their last 11 league matches, which included a run of five wins between October and November. Stam’s side will certainly prove a difficult challenge for the R’s but if there’s a weakness in the Royals makeup it will be likely be in their defence. Reading have conceded 36 goals in the league this season and have shipped four or more goals on three separate occasions. Their philosophy of playing out from the back can lead to potential opportunities.

But it’s going forward where the home side have been so impressive this term. They seem to have struck the perfect balance of skill, technique and power illustrated by the quality of some of their goals and performances.

Earlier when the two sides met at Loftus Road this season it ended 1-1 after Pawel Wszołek’s first half strike was cancelled out by Danny Williams with both sides having chances to win it late on.

Ian Holloway would have taken a lot of positives from the last two results but he will know that his side will more than likely have to be near their best to take anything from this fixture.

Tramore I don't think defensively Reading are actually that good. This division is poor and many teams including us keep chopping and changing or are in some sort turmoil. Reading has stability regarding the manager and players and are capitalizing on other teams misfortunes. If we had a NW and a goalscorer, a leader and a decent defender like Clint Hill I would be more confident

To be honest I am not sure what QPR team will turn up and how they will play. I admit that I am rather pessimistic, but I would love to be pleasantly surprised.

    As for the team:
I would play Sylla, unless he is now unfit or being prepared to be sold off.
I do not expect to see Ariel Borysiuk, as he seems to be black listed.
I would not be suprised to see Doughty start, or come on as sub.
Lua Lua should make a debut as sub for either Wszołek or Mackie.

I hope that I will not regret watching a good and smooth stream via KODI on my new TV Box device.
    Have fun folks! COYR's!!!!!!

At a meeting til about 9 so I've asked the lads for no updates or calls as I want to watch on catch-up. However, I've also asked them that if we are losing by 3 or more to let me know so I don't waste more of my life watching a QPR team lose! Sorry if that is bad.
Hope Mackie does well. Will certainly scare the defenders and Al-Habsi too.

These sides also met on a Thursday last season at the Madejski - Nedum Onouha scored a 90th minute winner for the Hoops. Reading haven't won a league match on a Thursday since December 1991, drawing three and losing five since.
