    Thoughts !?

Thinking 2-2 entertaining draw. Though Leadbitter is apparently playing which scares me.

Leadboots to come back refreshed and all forgiven...scores a blinder after 10!!

I think if we start with same tempo and positivity and sneak another early goal, I see no reason why we cant get a hard fought, entertaining draw, as you say.

There again, it could be a stinker! But that's Town for you...

Gritty Town performance or a footballing lesson from a well drilled Reading side, who knows!

Really need to get some points to avenge that sickening 2-3 defeat a few weeks back!

Gritty one-nil win, Leadbitter playing well enough to convince onlooking clubs that he’s worth buying now rather than waiting for the summer.

    Anything but another dismal slaughtering.

Am I the only one to have been impressed with Simon Church every time I’ve seen him – including Wales U21s? He never seems to get a regular run for Reading. Am I missing something??

    4-1 Reading.

So much respect for McDermott in an age when there are very few managers to have respect for.

Leadboots will be the reason we don't get anything from this game. I don't have any confidence in him doing anything of worth. We have done fine without him lately and if he comes in now and we look poor in midfield I hope that will spell the end of his time here.
Leadboots to be subbed after thirty minutes and to never be seen again in an Ipswich shirt is my current new years wish. He has been ever present in a poor side, does that not tell you something? Results have generally been better when he hasn't played.

Barnsley thought the same and we know what happened there ;)

Southampton's unbeaten home record up in smoke by Bristol City tonight !

What a ridiculous league this is....!

I'm predicting a half time of 0-0 and a FT of 4-1 Reading.
