For anyone travelling to the Reading v City game next week end.
An ex City and Reading player from the 70's who isn't in the best of health has asked me if anyone would be interested in a two night stay, Friday and Saturday in the Madejski Stadium Hotel at the ground. These were booked when the player in question was in better health but he is unable to make the trip.
He's not looking for a full refund but anything would be better then losing the booking because he will not get any money back at all. He told me there may be two tickets for the game too included. It is a top notch hotel and you are guaranteed to meet some famous faces there.
This is genuine and any help would be appreciated.
PM me for more details.
Thanks.

wins or losses don't really matter do they
we could get promoted
play a season or two in the prem
lose most games
maybe survive a season
eventually get relegated
pretty pointless really
money is all that matters while oil pumped human rights abusing nations have teams all over europe
and for a fan, i think championship is more enjoyable
so whats even the point of promotion

Always struggled to find a convenient pub in Reading that lets away supporters in. Anyone know any?

Sadly there has been no interest in this.
Wish I ( we ?) could have done something. But...
I stayed there last season. I couldn't commit to the stay this time or I would have been interested. I did, however, have to cancel a hotel in the uk due to ill health last September and my travel insurance paid out 60% of the cost without batting an eyelid.
