They come around quickly in the Championship. Reading haven't been in good form so we mustn't trip up tonight, another must win for us. Scotty said no great injury problems, a few niggles that would be assessed today. I think if all are fit we will stick as last week team wise. We are on sky sports red button if interested. Cookie where are you with this, I'm struggling. COYW's
Three changes from the weekend, with Odoi in for Sessegnon, Arter in for Reed and Reid in for Cavaleiro. It's squad rotation, although Cavaleiro hasn't had a great few games. Not a particularly competitive game, thankfully. Three goals in the first half hour and a red card for Reading, game over. In particular it is good to see Mitrovic back in the goals and a 4-1 win away from home... no complaints from me.
It was game over after 20 mins being 1 nil up and Reading down to 10 men but Reading were dreadfully poor and we could have had a real hat full if we really wanted to. If I was to be kind to Reading they had a good chance blocked by Betteneli in the first few minutes which might have changed things had it gone in. Good crowd from us tonight in a pretty empty stadium (only 11k from Reading) but it was easy and we had plenty still in the tank. MOM for me was Cairney.
Lol sorry mid week gets a bit busy work and that did seem to come around quickly.... The day before my Charlton mate told me all there play goes through Jon Swift so we would have to watch him lol It was easier than expected and sets up a big derby Saturday!!
Reading v Fulham YouTube video from Reading. Some nice goals in the Video. The comments from Reading fans are a good laugh.
"Can we have our ball back!!" brilliant. A game of 2 halves for me, tore them to bit in the first but strolled around in the second instead of increasing our GD, hope this doesn't bit back at the end of the season. Glad you are back Cookie
I would like to add that although I was very close to wanting Rodak to be given a chance... Betts save at 0-0 is easily as good as a goal!!
