Yes I know I will get stick because I'm from the blue half of hampshire and were below you but here goes. Pompey fan in peace here. I was just wondering what do you lot think about the Reading stewards and the fans directly to your right. for me the fans are the most jumped up little hitlers I've ever encountered, they seemed to think that becasue they've got a high vis jacket on they are untouchable. The fans I found are the gobbiest ****ers in the champ and that includes you lot when we play you and Millwall, although when it comes down to it, they are most definatly all talk. Not that i'm justifying the trouble we caused up there last season. Hers looking forward to the match on the 18th, although I am hoping that it will be postponed due to bad weather as I may not be able to go, due to only coming out of surgery 5 days prior.
They used to teach their ball boys gamesmanship, as well, deliberately holding up play for the opposition, not giving the ball back or throwing it past the player "accidentally", but lightening fast in giving back the extra ball, each one of them held, to their own team. Shameful, teaching young lads that sort of thing, just not cricket.
I forgot to mention it was about 8 or nine years ago, the year we won this league. At the time (my first experience of this sort of chicanery) it seemed such a rotten thing to do, but, as you say, they are all at it now. Sign of how fast and low we are sinking/have sunk I suppose. Another reason why, I like a nice day out watching county cricket.
