Knew they had won but didn't realise just what a dramatic finish it had been. Just reading the reports as watching it on football first and they were actually 2-0 down at home after 82 minutes and well under the cosh for most of the game. WBA had more possession, shots, corners etc and at that point goals. Then in the 82nd, 88th & 90th minute they won the game 3-2. Just shows what a league this is and how clubs scrapping for survival can still fight to the bitter end for points. That's a massive confidence boost for them so I am glad we don't play them next week? Pity the team that does? Lol You cant take anything for granted in these games and we will need to be fully focused if we are to come away from the DW next week with something. Well done Reading. On a side note, I see Pavel Pogrebnyak has scored 8 goals for them and 3 in the last 4 and that's for a bottom 3 team. Worth a punt? Maybe.
Goes to show that when tactics and strategies fail, hell for leather can be rewarding. That bottom three looks if it will continually change as teams get their game together and that will be more exciting than the top 4. Reading will be relishing the next game, whoever they play.
Look at the stats and their possession. I doubt they will pull that off again and I cannot see them surviving
They were totally and completely out played and outfought and could have been 6 down but whatever the stats mate, you have to tip your hat to them for their spirit and character. That was simply a stunning result by any standards. Well done to them and although I do still think they will be relegated due to a lack of quality, they could still take a few clubs with them on the way.
Can't stand west brom anymore since their game against us and the way Steve Clarke said that basically the cheating bastard dive for the penalty was OK because they deserved to win. Different 2 weeks later when Cazorla did it to them though wasn't it
