... for us all if this comes off, loads of laughs ahead.

Can such an obvious fraud really pass the EFL's owners and directors test ...

... and how can Reading be worth £50m.

We were valued at around £30m and, if I'm not mistaken, Reading recently sold their ground.

Started reading some comments then stopped on 3rd page when someone hoped for “parky” then another saying yes he’s managed well in this division. If they think these two will turn it around for them then I see no hope for them

You know they're desperate if he's viewed as a saviour.

It's sad that it's another club ruined by a chancer owner, how do the EFL let them in?

The answer's in the question tbh.

The authorities are very lax in how they vet owners.

Newcastle was sold to people who enshrine torture, murder and intolerance in their law ...

... on the back of 'legally binding assurances' <doh>

As meaningless a phrase as 'I delivered Brexit'.

Or another reason might be that the EFL along with their pals at the FA are ducking useless.
A more inept body of people you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

To quote Blackadder "the greatest work of fiction since vows of fidelity were included in the French marriage service."
