A warm hello to all Toffees fans – for those who don’t know me (most probably!), well it’s a Royals fan 100% in peace here. Please do see the ’Not 606’ Reading board for our news and preview on the game –

    http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/178685-Reading-v-Everton

The fullest respect is shown to Everton with full information produced equally for both sets of fans – but in all honesty far, far more on your team. It would be really interesting for us to have any comments from you put up here (or there on the Reading thread), like how you see the game going and general thoughts on your own team, and your (honest!) opinion of Reading.

I know some people don’t particularly like other fans producing a shopping list of questions to answer, and I perfectly understand that, so I leave any comments freely and totally with you. But if you like, these simple following points might be used as a very basic guide in case you’d like to write to something slightly longer, but don’t feel at all pushed to go along this road if it doesn’t suit you:

A] What are currently the strongest areas of YOUR squad, and who should Reading individually look out for / fear most?
B] Any young stars coming through the academy that we should keep an eye on, now or in the future? Any thoughts on the new U21 league?
C] Well, it’s a most impressive start to your season. Realistically, where do you hope Everton might finish if all goes more-or-less well?
D] How strong do you see the general level of the premier this season, and any general opinions of Reading FC and our current football - either for or against (you can be honest!). Any words of advice for the ‘newbies’ in the premier scene?!

Many thanks, here’s to a good game! I’ll be looking in daily, so any questions back just pop them on this thread …

thanks so much for the comments on the Reading board; much appreciated, believe me. Why two topics - one on each board then? Well, the thing is, out of respect I didn't think it correct to produce a what could be considered a near match thread/presentation itself from the Reading camp on your site, when you I can see that you already have excellent presentations here!!

it alright mate, due to laptop problems  I won't be able to post my match day up for a few days (perhaps might even have to miss this week) so the three of us are happy to invade your board and use that thread you've linked in the OP here <ok>

I feel a bit uncomfortable coming on here at all after the match, but it's certainly not to gloat. I wasn't there in person, but by all accounts Reading didn't deserve to do an escape act after a woeful first half and poor refereeing decisions. The guys on Royals Rendezvous are every bit as surprised as you are. Of course, the Royals needed a win desperately, otherwise the doom would be mounting up and manager out gossip appearing in ever greater quantity. I still believe Everton are on for a really excellent season.

Thanks for putting up with me this week, it's been great getting to know some of you, and you've got a friendly welcome awaiting on RR in case any fancy a browse around ...

Well done on your first win mate, hard to take this one though because I didn't think you played that well (opposed to the cup match when we clapped you off the other year)
