As always, friendly greetings from daib0. So onto our Christmas time game together upon us before we know it - and I wondered if I could have a few views ONCE AGAIN (!) from yourselves to inform the members on Readingâs âRoyals Rendezvousâ . Guaranteed absolutely no âwind upsâ on our forum, to the contrary, our highest respect! Whilst Iâd be grateful for anyone contributing with anything on this thread Iâd just like to point you all towards a few ideas. These will really help us. Any snippet reproduced will always be fully credited by showing your forum and member name. Just a few basic easy things â here goes: A] ** Was our recent game together an out-of-the-blue result of good luck for Reading? Because ... nearly all Royals fans would reluctantly admit your team appears rather stronger than ours right now - and being up there around the play-offs doesnât come just by accident. I just wondered for a few impartial comments reflecting on that recent game ... B] ** Are there any signs that youâll be strengthening the squad in January for a promotion push â and how do you see the promotion trail going? C] ** And apart from Norwich City - how do you now see your chief competitors around you â if you do make it back up who would be your personal favourites to accompany you? D] ** Our current situation in Reading has been turbulent as youâll know. Weâve been on a very nasty downward spiral, culminating in Nigel Adkins being fired. Royals Co-chairwoman, Lady Sasima Srivikorn, explained: âWe have appointed Steve because of his proven history as a manager and coach. We look forward to moving up the league and the board share the view that we have found the right man in Steve.â So how would you rate the new manager Steve Clarke? Answers to this Iâd especially like to relay over to my forum! E] ** So on to the Christmas game on the 28th? How do you see the match going? By all means leave a prediction here even if youâve given it or will give it in another thread! Cheers, and many thanks in advance for any contributions. Your forum has been given as the top recommended site for your club, so hopefully our own fans will be looking in! daib0 and the guys & gals on the Reading âRoyals Rendezvousâ forum
Always good to see you on here diab0 I know you didn't get an overwhelming repsonse last time, so i will try and get the ball rolling this time. I would say it was a fluke, although healthily enabled by two terrible bits of defending. You would have thought the same mistake would not have been made in the same game. Rumours are rumours mate - nothing concrete. Not even sure if we need to go and buy anyone tbh. Bournemouth - could go the distance Derby - Same as Bournemouth (my tip for Champions) Brentford - probably fall just a little short Ipswich - Against the odds could be in the play-offs Watford - Will fall short imo Middlesbro - Play-offs, or should be. Don't know much about him other than the Baggies fans were fed up with him placing square pegs in round holes, which nearly sent them down from the PL. Revenge will be sweet. 2-1 to Norwich Merry Christmas to you and all you Royals fans
A Merry christmas to all Canaries too, and for us on RR it's not even just at Christmas, our philosophy really is "Rivals, but Friends" - OK sounds softy but I'm convinced if you give respect you nearly always get it back please log in to view this image
