Reading Chat - Liverpool v Reading (20/10/2012) Please do see the âNot 606â Reading board for our news and preview on the game â http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/173899-Liverpool-v-Reading The fullest respect is shown to LIVERPOOL with full information produced equally for both sets of fans â but in all honesty far more on your team. It would be really interesting for us to have any comments from you put up here (or there on the Reading thread), like how you see the game going and general thoughts on your own team, and your (honest!) opinion of Reading. I know some people donât particularly like other fans producing a shopping list of questions to answer, and I perfectly understand that, so I leave any comments freely and totally with you. But if you like, these following points might be used as a very basic guide in case youâd like to write to something slightly longer, but donât feel at all pushed to go along this road if it doesnât suit you: A] What are currently the strongest areas of YOUR squad? B] Who should Reading individually look out for / fear most? C] Any young stars coming through the academy that we should keep an eye on, now or in the future? D] Realistically, where do you hope Liverpool might finish if all goes more-or-less well? E] How strong do you see the general level of the premier this season? F] Any general opinions of Reading FC - either for or against (you can be honest!) Many thanks, hereâs to a good game! daib0
A] Our strongest area is our midfield, with a few quality option. Who ever we pick is capable of causing you some problems. Gerrard and Allen will start. Then it becomes Shelvey v Sahin for a start. Either of those 2 are able to get goals. B] Raheem Sterling. Also Sahin, Suso and Suarez. The s's are our squads strongest. C] Sterling, Suso, Wisdom. D] I think our most important thing is to improve on last season and finish strong. Improvement must be clear. Top 4 is the ultimate, top 6 I'll be happy with. 7th is ok. I am desperate for us to finish above Spurs. E] The Premier League is stronger than ever. 8 teams are competing seriously for the top 6, with 2 major outsiders. F] I think Reading will have a long hard season and be in the thick of a relegation battle. I'll also add. Our struggles have been scoring goals and keeping clean sheets. But after scoring 5 against Norwich and keeping a clean sheet against Stoke, things are improving.
Cheers, an honest reply. Yep, I know we're not fancied by anyone, just hoping for a cosy and comfortable 17th place finish at the moment! No whinging or gloating from us on Saturday, whatever the result!
This Our CM is definitely our strongest area and the obvious threat is Suarez (he seems to like these sorts of games too) but we have a few individuals that could cause Reading problems such as Sterling, Assaidi, Suso, Sahin and Gerrard. Shelvey will be back for that game too.
