Well done beating the Scummers at St.Fairy's last night, as the thread says . Good luck in the Premier League next season. Lets hope the Hammers can pull a run together starting today and get the last automatic promotion spot leaving the Scummers to endure the lottery of the 'play offs'.
The best team in the league will be apparent after the next three matches. Today we're all Brighton fans
Agreed, and why? 1) the club (Hammers) seems to believe that it has a divine right to be playing in the premier, and that little clubs like Reading are annoyingly getting in the way 2) Because in both matches v the Hammers this season, we received an earful of abuse to our friendly posts on other forums - KUMB, FAH etc. I participate in 20+ specialist club forums in the Championship, and only problems ever have been from West Ham and Bristol City. Show respect and you'll always get it back ...
That's a really tough one to call Pieking. If Reading are top at season's end they can claim to be the best. But it just doesn't seem right somehow, after Southampton were top for virtually the whole campaign. I know it is right, but I can't explain why?
I can answer that one Meowth, as SCUM can usually rise to the top surface before sinking down , but in this case it is the CREAM that has risen to the top and will stay there!
Imagine if Saints had beaten Pomely; would he have created a thread saying 'best team in the south'...
to be honest with you all, I don't really mind whether it's Saints or Reading in whatever 1-2 order; the main thing obviously is just securing promotion ...
SB3 I have the suspicion that you have broken the terms of your ASBO by coming on to the Reading board.
tomorrow will put the initial article claim to the test, but odds are that we're get past Forest, even if true to our style it's only just edging past 2-1 ...
After watching the game at St Mary's on Friday I can give you a definitive answer - Yes! In boxing parlance it reminded of the Ali-Foreman fight where we pounded away at the Reading goal, got some good shots in that Reading parried or countered with an attack of their own. Like Foreman we had used up most of our heavy punches shortly before the second Reading goal which really floored us! After that our attacking flurries were brushed aside with ease and Reading dominated from there on. When you compare the two teams, man for man Reading have better quality than Southampton's counterparts - including a number with Premiership experience and a hardcore of players who have been through promotion chases before in this division.
It partly depends on West Ham tomorrow - Promotion guaranteed for Reading: A) if we win â and West Ham lose or draw B) if we draw â and West Ham lose All other possibilities, and it goes down to next game ⦠Reading recent record - WWWWWWWWDWLWWWWW.
