The club have completely ****ed up!.
Only asked for 2k tickets which were put straight onto general sale and sold out in a flash.
We asked Reading for more and they declined (****ers).
Pretty ****ing obvious we'd take a lot more than 2k to Reading considering the start we've made to the season.
The club have issued an apology to fans.
They really are clueless at times.

Reading LFW it seems fans are buying tickets in blocks G4 & G5........ only problem is that you have to sign up for Reading membership:emoticon-0119-puke:

Trouble lies ahead and could all have been avoided.

Without a doubt, both clubs culpable........ For some reason Reading only allow a maximum away support of 2100 in a ground that holds 25k+ and has home support of 12k........

They are a club sinking in debt with wages to income ratio of 2/1 and they basically refuse to take money from visiting fans....... They could have sold out the entire away end against us and Bristol City the other week, but no they didn't want to.........

I had the impression we could have asked for more initially.

Yep......... think initial request was 1500 or so and they sold out almost as soon as they went on sale so another 600 obtained and they went like hot cakes...........

Doubt it would have made any difference in long run if the max obtained straight away as they'd still would have been sold as soon as they were released on general sale.........

Seems our ticket office weren't exactly up to speed on things in the lead up and that fans with loyalty points weren't given any pre arranged opportunity to buy, the tickets just went on general sale on a first come first served basis........

All in all a bit of a shambles......

I thought we could have asked for more initially, but based our request on past games, which were midweek or on sky or both.
Poor.

Heading over for the Bristol City game 18th September. Really looking forward to my first game in 19/20 months. The enforced absence has been difficult. Hoping to get to a game a month if I can depending on work shifts.

I'm sure the regular away fans will be fuming at the club for this **** up. Hopefully it is a one off. People with more points like ST ticket holders and regular away fans deserve first dibs. on days where there is a limit to tickets available.

I renewed my membership this year. If we do have a good season and manage to reach the play off's, having the membership will make a huge difference in terms of getting tickets for the play off game/s.

Seems like a mess all round. We didn't ask for enough tickets in the first place, then messed up the sale, meaning season ticket holders weren't prioritised (if I have understood that correctly), and then Reading are digging their heals in. I assume they must think it'll be a sell out because surely they can only gain by giving us more seats if they'll be empty otherwise.
