Are any of you guys going to Reading this weekend or been to the Madejski in the past?

I’ve never been before but am going this weekend and was wondering the easiest way to get to the Madejski from the train station in the town centre? I see there’s a bus but there is probably going to be a few thousand looking to do that so it has the potential to be a nightmare. I wondered if anyone had done this in the past and could recommend the best way?

It's about a +3 mile trek from the station. Best way is the bus. But be prepared to que a long time
after the game, unless they've improved the service and the traffic jams.
If you walk, best to look at google map and pick out some markers to walk too.

You know what, daib0, I hope Reading stay up just because you're a great fan. Much rather have people like you on our board than fans from Stoke or QPR... :D

Having been disappointed with my correct 2-2 prediction at Saints and somewhat underwhelmed to get only one goal out ot the 3-0 that I predicted last week against Villa, today's game could go any way. But I'll go with scraping a 1-2 win , given that we have virtually a full squad from which to pick the starting line-up, with a reasonable bench to use later, and we are against a Reading team who are desparate for the win. I know it's not much of a rationale, but it still compares well to Lawro......
