stay up or go down. IMHO. We really must do all possible to stay in the premiership at all costs. Sam has to buy well in January and shore up the defence. Get his methods in quick and the team have to understand his vision. None of this will happen if short refuses to splash the cash.he will know that if we do go down he will loose millions.this infact it will unable him to sell the club at a decent price.IF THATS HIS GOAL.????? Let's hope that the whole SAFC are singing from the same hymn sheet. LETS HAVE NO MORE TALK OF RELEGATION AND RE GROUPING ...????????????
Sorry mate but after seeing that performance today it's just a question of which other two teams are going down with us. For me, one of them has to be Bournemouth, if they can't beat that pile of ****e up the road they deserve to go down. Apart from them I think it will be between Villa, Newcastle and Norwich
I fear January will come too late. We might be so far adrift that nobody of any real calibre will come. Unless we win at least 2-3 between now and January, then I'm afraid its drapes for us. Short will also not splash the cash in January if the writing is already on the wall. Its a total mess basically.
Not a good week, but I still firmly believe we have the players to get us out of this mess if we can get the tactics and players attitudes right..
I was full of hope this week that we would get something from the game, but it was not to be, even so I still draw a lot of possitives from our performance, bit worried about our midfield set up and the inconsistent performances from the usual suspects. But I still think we will be OK this season if we can hang on and not be cut adrift. Just look at Liecester and where they were this time last year, its a long haul and there are going to be a lot of twists and turns ahead, nil desperandum auspice deo.
All is far from lost with 2/3rds of the season to go. We need to buy 2-3 quality players in defence in Jan, but Sam's only been here for ten minutes so let's not get the tampons out just yet FFS!
It's easier to change things if you stay in the prem. We can stay up but I doubt it. We must keep Sam though. Look at how Bolton did for years, west ham now after both coming up with him in charge.
Well, so far it is yet another fekin unbelievably **** season, effectively the 2nd worst club in the league and a team with players that have seen out 4-managers, yet they still seem to be in charge and they will soon need Zimmer frames. We have a brilliant under 21 side, yet we can't play them as they are apparently not ready... Pace and creativity we can only dream about. On a positive note, bad as we are, **** though the season is, we still beat the mags and I can well imagine how that sticks in their wrinkly gullets. All that is required now is another small miracle and if not? Well, it's only a game, KTF
Tbh, I doubt any of our managers over the last few years have truly known what they were getting into until they get their newtons cradle on their desk at the AOL!
Well said -we need blind faith - we cannot afford on all levels to be r*******d - no way - feel sure ES will support BSA
Don't worry mate, I have applied the equally ridiculous "I don't care about the derby, it's only the league position that matters" logic to my own thinking in recent times
