20110602. McShane unsure of Hull future Defender will wait until pre-season before making a decision Last Updated: June 2, 2011 12:49pm ....Paul McShane remains unsure whether he has a future at Hull City and is likely to wait until pre-season before making a decision. The Republic of Ireland international made 19 appearances under Tigers boss Nigel Pearson last season before being sent out on loan at Barnsley. McShane enjoyed his time at Oakwell and previously admitted an interest in joining Barnsley permanently prior to Mark Robins' departure as manager. The defender is currently on international duty ahead of Ireland's Euro 2012 qualifier with Macedonia and has doubts about his future at the KC Stadium. "I think the manager says he wants me to stay for next season, but I don't know. If you look at the team photo from last year everyone has gone," McShane told the Hull Daily Mail. "The manager has come in and got rid of the old players. He wants his own batch which sometimes happens in football, but we will wait see what happens in pre-season. "I don't want to be in the same situation just because he wants his own players and I don't think I really have a chance." .
