I said it when we got shot of Keef, and I will offer it up again for comment, I would love to see Ray given a chance as our manager. He has vast experience as a coach, working for some of the very best, is well respected, has good links with clubs which should not be under estimated when it comes to bringing in players ( Rogers at Swansea as an example).

I do not know if he is available or even interested in managing, but must be worth an enquiry

No doubt some people will bring up his early attempts at management that were not a total success (show me a manager who hasn't), but since then he has gone back to the coaching world and built his skills up and would surely be wiser and better prepared given another chance.

I think he prefers the coaching side more than managing - they are certainly two bet different roles, but as I've said before, I think bringing in a great coach to work with Del would be the best option. Every great team has had a top quality coach/number 2 that rarely gets the credit they deserve.

Sounds silly but what about Andy Gray. At least he will abuse the women we have in midfield and defence <laugh>

But he was touted by a few clubs as he reads the game well and could now be tempted into management ?

But I love to see your choice Supcon77, in either a coach or management <ok>

I wouldn't we sacked him last time, we can't look back through rose tinted glasses. Maybe as a coach but not manager. <ok>

Joe Jordan is at QPR with 'arry so no chance with him.

I personally would have a short list of

    Di Canio
    Karl Robinson
    Billy Davies
    maybe Alan Shearer

Haha all the talk of needing "experienced" Championship managers yet we see names like Roy Keane, Shearer and Robinson, the latter is doing a decent job at MK Dons but seriously it's laughable to say the least.

I'm still ok with McInnes as manager, but I'm apparently deluded for supporting him and the anti-Del are know all's <whistle>

If he goes there isnt many to choose from and half of them would probably just laugh us off

Yep I think your right. We won't get this experienced manager who is going to wave his magic wand and it will all be ok.

I think we will have Dell for the month......if we are bottom 3 come Jan 1st then he will be off. I said that last month though so god knows! Its almost like he is scared to loose now so he sets out to get a point at best. I realy can't get my head around his formations sometimes....Baldock AND Davies on the bench at home ffs? We all know what Baldock can do and Davies is the in-form striker. And we loan a top youngster from Liverpool for what?
Its just all confusing and frustrating.........

I will offer you the choice right now, on this Monday after a poor poor display, impending doom and just general feeling of doom and gloom.......
carry on as we are and hope it turns around.....

    OR

8 and 10k crowds in L1, but winning games 3-0 and bouncing around happily in the top 6 for a season or two?

I know what I would prefer.........

Ahh, lets stick with Del and get relegated, seems to be the voice of some.....................Really.
Answer a question, what have you seen to convince you that Del could keep us up??

Winning games 3-0....you are having a laugh arn't you.......we were bloody out played by Gillingham for gods sake....
I know, lets drop down a few more, just for the entertaining factor...lol

    Crazy......

It will be a total disaster if we get relegated...end of

Nothing this season! But I just don't think there is anything out there at the moment. We won't get some experienced manager wanting to come to us. They just won't be interested we ain't a fallen giant, we live in a area where between the two clubs can't fill AG. We are just not attractive enough.

I'd rather be in top 6 team in league 1 with hungry young players with a good manager ie a tisdale, robinson then be a god awul championship team with a **** manager and the worst football players this football club has seen in it's 104 years of history

Don't you think Kilkenny could be the next Maradona?

He ****ing thinks so can't believe that someone said a quote from Kilkenny saying " he did not think he had a bad game"

When Del learns that to get anywhere stop having favourites Fontaine Pearson Kilkenny and some extent Foster. **** sake pick a team to win not go for a draw!!
