    Sad to hear he passed away last evening.

    Thinking of Kevin and Gary and their family.

    Kevin Mabbutt one of city's best,Gary one of Rovers best.

    Sad to hear.

    I've got a book of his published in 1979 called "You can be a Soccer Star" which was very forward thinking in those days, and expounded the virtues of diet, lifestyle, training and technique, particularly from a very young age. He used his own experience to guide Kevin and Gary and suggested in this book that anyone could do the same as they did.

    the shadowy figure with the scythe is becoming more prevalent and there always seems to be plethora of candidates in the months around the festive season....
