    He was unlucky in that he was around at the same time as the best keeper I have ever watched live ... Peter Shilton ... that said, Shilts was unlucky too ... if Ray hadn't been so good Shilts would have had even more caps than the incredible number he clocked up ... England were very lucky to have 2 keepers of such high quality <cheers>

    If I'm honest I never rated Ray.
    Always had a mistake in him and he was up against Shilts.
    But then Peter was always **** at pens.
