As the biggest wrestling fan on not606 I would like to remind you all that tonight is episode number 1000 of WWE's flagship television programme RAW. Who can forget some of the iconic storylines of RAW. An octogenarian giving birth to a hand, a Simon Weston faced freak ****ing a corpse and a guy gettiing so strung out on steroids that he murdered his own family. All in the name of entertainment. God bless you Vincent Kennedy for giving us such iconic superstars as The Big Deal, Henry Mark, Dan Mysterio, Double H and Robert "the snake" Jakey. It is going to be an incredible show tonight with special appearances from Diarmuid "The Rock" O' Sullivan, St One Cold Dean Austin and somebody called Brooke Lasner. Looking forward to it fellow 'rasslin fans. do I like WWE.... You bet I do
That was on Raw episode 142 on a segment just after the one man gang battled to a time limit draw with Akeem the African dream
I would have been drunk through everyone of my teenage years if it wasn't for raw and smack down on a Friday and Saturday nights. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing though. With Summerslam just around the corner it makes me feel old that it was at wembley 20 years ago now.
I went to a wrestling show recently, took the missus and the kids. I don't know much about wrestling but someone called Alberto Del Rio was on. He had some dude in a black suit and scarf as his compere. I thought his act was class. And there was this other bloke on called John Cena. He loved himself. And then there was CM Punk (?), didn't like him.
Bad thing. Fooling no one, you sound like a massive fan. Wrestling turned **** around 1992, when most fans grew up. I do like watching some of the documentaries about the old wrestlers from the 80s and how strung up they were on coke and booze every night. The Jake the Snake story was brutal. In the 1st 10 minutes he speaks about his grandmothers boyfriend raping his mother when she was a teenager, his step mum trying to screw him, beating his sister within an inch of her life, his sisters murder and his problems with drink and drugs. A real cheery experience.
How the **** can anyone watch wrestling? The British stuff with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks was bad enough but WWE is just coreographed dancing for ****s.
