Forster 7 - Very commanding today and good glove work in wet conditions
Gardos 7 - Very solid from Gardos, bouncing back from a mare at Sheffield United
Alderweireld 8 - Superb in the middle of defence, ensured Fonte was not missed
Yoshida 7 - Impressed again after a good performance last week. Won plenty in the air.
Clyne 7 - Another assured display from a very very good player.
Bertrand 8 - Superb finish for his goal and a constant threat going forward. Really fits this new formation.
Schneiderlin 7 - Good display, ran the midfield with ease.
Ward-Prowse 8 - Boy have we missed his right foot. Great corner for Toby's goal and set up Mane's goal. Could have scored himself.
Davis - 7 Nice and solid again from Mr Dependable. Gave the ball away once on the edge of his own box but generally good.
Mane - 9 MOTM Superb from the much maligned Mane. This formation is much better suited for him. Took his goal really well. Played a really nice ball through for someone to shoot over the bar and got the assist for Bertrand's goal. Was a constant menace and by far and away his best day in a Saints shirt.
Pelle 6 - Quiet day for the big man.

    Subs:

Wanyama 7 - Drove through the heart of the midfield on one run. No one got near him (not that I blame the Palace players!) Put himself about well.
    Long 6
McCarthy N/A Another academy player making his debut. :D

Yours are pretty spot on Tom. Big props to Koeman for sticking with the formation and picking Mane to play upfront.

Pretty much agree with you, only I would +1 to everyone. Best away performance of the season.

But keep Mane at 9 of course. I'm not that generous.

Agree with the lot except Davis. Had a few bad touches and made more than 1 unnecessary mistake today and seemed off his game in general. So i'd just drop him to 5.

Best game for JWP for along time. Sitting deeper he can use his passing ability, the first goal was a wonderful assist. He seems abit bigger which stops him being pushed around as well
