I see on Stokes threads that they have asked people to rate their manager Mark Hughes and most rate him high. So how would Bruce rate for city and against some of the other Premier league managers? For city I rate him the best and give him ten out of ten. In terms of achievement against others I rate very high but wouldn't know what score to give him.
Best we've had in my opinion! BUT I do think a change during the game is so obvious sometimes but he doesn't do anything about it! Meyler on the left and aluko down the middle last week had to be changed quicker then it was! But I wouldn't want any other manager!
So far I would give him 8 out of ten. If the season ends with prem survival and FA Cup final it would be ten out of ten. The final vote should only be taken after he's gone, next season could be dire and end up with relegation!
2012/13 season: 10/10. I would have been happy with snatching a playoff place before that season began, but Brucey exceeded all expectations. 2013/14 season: 8/10 so far, though survival would get a 9/10 and an FA Cup final on top of that would get another 10/10.
8/10 for me, despite what he has done in terms of our promotion and current position I feel that he sometimes makes some bizarre team selections i.e persisting with the 3-5-2 when it wasn't working, and he doesn't seem to really change the game if we are not playing well so if we have a period of playing badly it may be very tough on us.
Case in point Rosie being dropped after one of his best performances in a city shirt for someone we all consider a liability. TWT
10 out of 10. I dont care about his team selections week and week out, I care about the results. Compared to other mangers I think Bruce should be in the conversation for PL manager of the year.
We play good football in general. We've signed good players. He tinkers but not too much. He has players playing to their full potential. He is enjoyable to watch on interviews and doesn't embarrass us. Fantastic. 10/10
I have been supporting City for over fifty years and I rate Steve easily the best manager we have had. We play good football and have a group of lads who work hard individually and as a group and play with tremendous spirit. We are fortunate to be here during the clubs "golden age".
Well said and completely agree. I'm a 65 year supporter and Steve is far and away the best all round manager we've ever had. His acquisitions at reasonable cost have transformed the team, he's a fantastic "man manager" who's built a great team spirit, and his tactics are usually spot on. Truly a "golden age" for Hull City and our supporters. 10/10.
