Slightly pukey with a good chance of staying in bed till noon. Bile build up and difficulty focusing. Possibly may need to carry out a pitch inspection of last nights trousers.

About a five - I was on the good stuff, so my head doesn't feel quite my own and I had to concentrate hard to remember the route walking to the paper shop this morning, but a bacon sarnie (sorry typical) a large mug of tea and a couple of great reviews have got me feeling semi-human again.

Slept in my shirt and I may have to be sedated to have it removed...

Good grief Oz, if I'd tried to do that, I'd be comatose until next season...

Lol Typical, I'd be lucky to get out of bed by noon anyday of the year. Student life for you, we're just so lazy aren't we? :)

Got back from Amsterdam late last night, 12 hour sleep though has meant no hangover.

I feel like this every morning, typical. The medication I take for diabetes is exceptionally grim.

I haven't touched a drop of booze for over two years, so I celebrated with a cup of Twinnings strawberry and mango tea.

TBH Tewkes, it was a bit underwhelming ! - went to Birdoswald which is about 30 mins from Carlisle - a Roman Fort - but it wasnt obvious where the wall was - and it cost e a fiver to get in !
Also found out on the way up that my son had never been to Scotland , so we went to Gretna Green , just to say we'd been there - quite odd that they speak with a Scottish accent yet 7 miles the other side in Carlisle they speak with a Northern English accent !
The Carlisle folks were simply brilliant - a friendlier bunch you could not wish to meet, and i sincerely hope they go up in the play-offs - the people who we spoke to in the Inn (Fox and Pheasant,, Armathwaite - highly, highly, highly recommended to any you guys that do business up there - or maybe even for future CAFC games in Carlisle), said that we were the best side they'd played all season, and wished us well. They also mentioned they missed Miller ? up-front, but that we deserved the win. lovely folk.

I think after Saturday, Stu even witnessing aliens landing in the centre circle at The Valley would be a bit underwhelming...

Must admit, I've been in a post-promotion stupor all day. Great feeling, but you don't get a hell of a lot done.

I've got a six hour meeting tomorrow - back to reality with a thump. :emoticon-0114-dull:
