Can’t believe that another manager has failed to budge Moussa from his comfy armchair by the fire. He’s a likeable bloke but he is beginning to haunt the changing rooms. Where are the super duper strikers we were promised?

I'm fine with it. The lack of incomings in the final days (just Stewart and THB) is offset by the fact that we appear to have kept players I would not have anticipated would still be here, namely Che and Sulemana. My only qualm is that I'd have liked another DM; beyond that, we have an awful lot of depth everywhere.

Let's be honest, it's been a mixed window, pushing into a good window.

Few disappointments (Tino & Tella) where players left who I expected to stay.
Moved some players on who I never thought would stay and am OK with (lavia, jwp)
Moved on some utter dross in the likes of Orsic, Salisu & DCC
Signed some very good talent at this level for little money
Bought back Smallbone & Stephens, who are like new signings and will be key
Kept some excellent players who I was certain would leave (kwp, Adams)
But then I wish we could have moved some more players on (Aribo, Djenepo & Mara spring to mind) but can't have it all

And then, I'd rather we signed more permanent players rather than loans but let's be real, we dont know where we'll be next summer so we can cross that bridge then depending on where we are.

So yeah, pretty mixed to be honest. Strangely, I think our squad is better on paper than it was last season.

Chuffed with this window.

GK Baz, McCarthy, (Lumley)

RB's: KWP, Bree, (Holgate)

CB's: THB, Bednarek, Stephens, Holgate (Charles)

LB's: Manning, Larios (Djenepo)

DM: Downes, Charles, Smallbone

CM: Charly, Stu, Smallbone, Adarma, Aribo

LW/RW: Edozie, SAA, Adarma, Fraser, Sulemana, Djenepo, Aribo

CF: Che, Stewart, Mara, Adarma, Tall Paul

A few of those (Paul, Aribo, Moussa) may leave to leagues where the window is still open but that squad has depth, it has quality and it has versatility.
Anyone who thinks we've had a poor window needs their head examining quite frankly.

HMS PISS THE LEAGUE - FULL STEAM AHEAD!

Who cares about Tino now. KWP > Tino.
