2. An undoubted talent with so much potential its frightening. But that's all it is right now because with his volatile temperament and immature ways it could all go up in smoke like so many similar talents in the past. Harry Redknapp wouldn't keep him and right now its hard to see many managers willing to take a gamble on him. If he stays with us I hope he shines but I wouldn't be sorry to see the back of him if I'm completely honest.
Need to keep him! Will win us games and get us points from no where. If his goals and performances earn us an extra 10-15 points which I think they will Adel is key to us staying up next year.
Premiership reject. Guess we'll see whether he has the temprament for it second time around. My money says frequently not.
1. Has to be a 1 for adel, based on the criteria. I can't see him struggling to do to many prem players what he did to many last season. The question isn't his ability but, of course his attitude. Can't afford to go missing when he gets clattered, can't afford to sulk and we can't have someone in our ranks who thinks he's bigger than those around him. Big ask, I hope he sorts it out.
1. Has to be for pure talent. Anyone saying he hasn't got the ability has been watching football somewhere other than Loftus Road for the last 20 years cos he is head and shoulders our biggest talent since Ferdinand. He will irritate and frustrate again this season, throw his toys out tantrum style no doubt and have some truly horrible performances. But temper that with the fact he will also be unplayable on occasions, and in these games he will win us 3 points on his own.
between 1 an 2 for me. ability wise he is a 1, attitude and whether premier defenders will man mark him / stop him playing 2 Will he see the season out......extremely doubtful at the moment
Scenario 1) Adel lights up the Premier League, scores 20 goals and assists a further 30 for Fernando Torres (could happen) and we finish top 5 minimum Scenario 2) Adel has a decent first half, scoring a few, getting the odd man of the match but has a couple of sulks when we have a can of whoopass opened on us. Result is he is offski in the January transfer and we drop like a stone down the table Scenario 3) Adel accepts an offer from any club that comes in for him over the summer and we try to find someone with the £10mil we'd get but end up keeping Hulse I'll go for number 2 please Cilla
I can't see him performing or wanting to be part of a side thats maybe getting pasted week in / week out hence his comments about the club signing new talent. If he doesn't go before start of season and we have a bad run I can see him going awol til January
1 - Breathtaking skill can convert to totally useless stroppy git in the space of a few minutes. At his best mesmerising, at his worst needs a good slap.
2 - Wonderful talent, not seen skills like his in many a year, but if he throws his toys out the pram as he is prone to do, then we could be in trouble - needs to work really hard to prove himself at PL level - I only hope he proves all us doubters wrong, and he shines and delivers what promise he has at Loftus Road, and not another club!
