Rate The Player - Wayne Routledge

  1. Premiership Class. One of our key players last season and next

  2. Potential. Excelled last season in the CCC, but could find the step up a challenge

  3. Squad. Did enough in the CCC to secure a berth in the squad, but will only warm the bench.

  4. Did OK against Leeds and Donny;the prospect of Man City and Arsenal is too scary to contemplate.

  5. Didn't contribute enough last season - certainly shouldn't be on the bus this year.

    I know he's not our player, and he may or may not be with us next season depending on agreeing his exit payment from Newcastle, but he was a big part of the promotion push, so he gets a thread.....

    Seems to be a player that's to good for the Championship but doesn't really kick on in the top flight. Who knows if he comes to us it might be the club he settles down with.

    2. Has tried and failed a number of times in the past but I still think there's a chance he could make it.

    Enjoyed both spells at qpr but may be ok in the prem with the right system.

    can't get excited about this one, never done it in the prem and no guarantee it will be different this time,maybe he's only championship class.
