Rate The Player - Radek Cerny

  1. Premiership Class. One of our key players last season and next

  2. Potential. Excelled last season in the CCC, but could find the step up a challenge.

  3. Squad. Did enough in the CCC to secure a berth in the squad, but will only warm the bench.

  4. Did OK against Leeds and Donny;the prospect of Man City and Arsenal is too scary to contemplate.

  5. Didn't contribute enough last season - certainly shouldn't be on the bus this year.

    5 - The Leeds match proved why he has been sub all year, just not up to it.

    North - the word WAS in an accurate discription for Radek. Was hoping we would have gone for a new back up goalie, but, maybe Cerny has shown loyalty by not rocking boat hence the extra year

    4 - I can't see why we extended his contract. Leed's first goal was down to him chickening out on a through ball. We couldn't afford that again. The difference in basically the same defence since Paddy went is goal is incredible.

    4. (Despite it saying "did ok v Leeds" :emoticon-0108-speec) I always figured Camp was a better keeper. Cerny flaps far too much. Would probably have voted 2. before the Leeds game but it showed why he'll never be Prem quality (I doubt he was when he played there).

    3. We're not gonna get better backup keeper than this and lets be honest, unless we sign Peter Chec Paddy will play all our games next season.

    1 he scared the **** out of me against Leeds but player ok at Watford, would like to think we could sign better,but as were buying nobody he will have to do.
