  1. Premiership Class. One of our key players last season and next.

  2. Potential - Excelled last season in the CCC, but could find the step up a challenge.

  3. Squad - did enough in the CCC to secure a berth in the squad, but willonly warmthe bench.

  4. Did OK against Leeds and Donny;the prospect of Man City and Arsenal is too scary to contemplate.

  5. Didn't contribute enough last season - certainly shouldn't be on the bus this year.

First in a series of polls to be posted over the next couple of days.

Question in all of these is simple - comment purely on the player, not on the board. and if you vote, 'fess up and post a comment as well!

Starting with Paddy Kenny, shot-stopper extraordinaire, with a probable record number of clean sheets in one season.

    2. Excelled in the second tier, now has it all to do again, against much tougher opposition.

    1. All things being equal and with a half decent defence, our Paddy will be top drawer!

Note to Willy: Great initiative this mate. Well done and thanks, needed a break from the transfer and takeover dross.

    1. Did all that was asked of him and much, much more. There is no reason to think he won't do the same next season. He posesses a combination of reflex and a no fear attitude that will see him do very well.

Number 1;can't see him keeping the same number of clean sheets though.I'm
an optimist, but I'm not completely crazy.

As long as he stays away from McDonald's, I'm voting No 1.

I have no doubts at all about Paddy. Not just in his ability in goal, but also to keep the dozy idiots in front of him in line.

Premiership class no doubt, will probably concede far too many goals for a keeper of his standard if we don't shore up our defence though.

1 - Deserved all the praise and accolades heaped on him last season. His strength is his vocal domination of the defence as well as his shot stopping ability. He's in charge of his box at all times and that was the difference between us being champions and just play-off contenders. Just look at the confusion we saw in the Leeds match from Cerny.

    2. Fantastic last season, but the prem is a step up. I have complete faith in him though as I rate him highly.

    1. Great shot stopper, and vocally great with the defence - just wish his distribution wasn't as long ball as it sometimes seems to be
