Leicester line up shock move for Chelsea favourite Claudio Ranieri as new boss. He´s just left the job as Greece´s national manager & has said he wants to be NP´s successor. ? Comes from the daily star btw.
Please no. Pretty sure there are much better alternatives than Ranieri. I never trust a manager who touts himself for a job, shows they're not confident with their own reputation.
He never said he wanted the job, he was asked about it and he answered in a positive fashion - http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-listen-to-what-they-had-to-say-10370390.html I would like a manager that actually wants to be here rather then someone who is waiting for a better offer.
I remember being really thankful it wasn't that academy boss from America that we were strongly linked with.
That's quite a funny thread but to be fair who could have predicted the job he's done. It'd be quite amusing if he won you the Champions League next season......
On this day 2004 Chelsea dismissed Ranieri despite guiding them to a Champions league semi final & 2nd place in the PL.....wonder how he's doing now
