Leicester line up shock move for Chelsea favourite Claudio Ranieri as new boss.

He´s just left the job as Greece´s national manager & has said he wants to be NP´s successor.

? Comes from the daily star btw.

Please no. Pretty sure there are much better alternatives than Ranieri. I never trust a manager who touts himself for a job, shows they're not confident with their own reputation.

He never said he wanted the job, he was asked about it and he answered in a positive fashion - http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-listen-to-what-they-had-to-say-10370390.html

I would like a manager that actually wants to be here rather then someone who is waiting for a better offer.

Just looked at my comment. Glad no one listened to me. Spectacularly wrong or what!

I remember being really thankful it wasn't that academy boss from America that we were strongly linked with.

That's quite a funny thread but to be fair who could have predicted the job he's done. It'd be quite amusing if he won you the Champions League next season......

I dunno if I'd be amused but I'd definitely be boozed.

On this day 2004 Chelsea dismissed Ranieri despite guiding them to a Champions league semi final & 2nd place in the PL.....wonder how he's doing now <whistle>
