Other than the names of most major clubs and a handful of players, I know next to nothing about the round ball game. I knew that Rangers were in deep financial **** and faced liquidation, but it was only today that I found out that they may not be playing top flight football next year. With players fleeing like rats from a sinking ship, is there any way forward for the once proud club. I know they bought it on themselves, but this seems like a really sad time for football. Do Celtic fans and football supporters in general wish this stricken club the best or what?
The normal Tim on the street that I've spoken too, and some of my mates can sympathise with us and our current situation. The normal Tim on the internet are a special breed, really bitter and really inbred, see above for reference.
They've been caught with their pants down ****ting all over the Queen and HMRC and cheating so **** 'em, **** 'em to hell.
its african_ger i feel sorry for. african_taig must be lording it over him right now throwin spears at him n that.
I've heard that **** loads of clubs are up to their arses in debt. Empathy might be a good thing here.
No, the media build it up to be something that it's not then moan about what they've created. OF derby, biggest in world, they hate each other because it's based on religion, then when some eejit stabs a **** because he's wearing a football top, it's "sectarian". There may have been a divide in the past, but it's non existent these days, only those with an axe to grind, or who gain financially from promoting sectarianism still think it exists.
You feel bad for your mates... Then you read their fan sites, listen to their spokesmen and get the message that this is anyone but their own fault and god help anyone who disagrees ...**** em
In terms of the people I know who supported Rangers and the ordinary folk who lost their jobs, I have a lot of sympathy for. But for the bams on followfollow/rangersmedia/vanguard bears etc who post threats against a guy who sat on a SFA judical panel, went on marches against the SFA or demand that Scottish football let them off scott free then No, do I ****! Also, for pricks like Sany Jardine, an ex player, who was shouting his moth off with threats then **** him as well!
I never said it was.... .. But it's probably the biggest derby in the UK, indeed, probably northern Europe.
Aye, it's no that bad and they don't suggest that there's any sort of social distinction between the sets of fans - except them, they're inbred, it's their fault etc.
It has to be a sad day if and when two great clubs are driven apart. Celtic V Rangers is a global phenomonen.
