The tax bill is expected to add up to £49m: £35m in tax and £14m in interest and fines. The case is due to be heard in November 2011.
I expect BBC Scotland Football commentators in co junction with the Daily Record to start a campaign for all Rangers fans to stop paying their taxes to show these fellows they cannot come in here and treat us the way they want. Rangers can't pay the money and so any decent British person would know that should be the end of it.
I've also heard they have missed a payment to Rapid Vienna for Jelavic although it sounds like nonsense if I'm honest.
The funny thing these days is the silence from rangers fans. Remember when they were all shouting that it was a smear campaign and the media was against them? Love it.
Rangers will not be held to ransom Im enjoying todays bbc headline about rangers saying there is a "whispering campaign" against them........since when did headlines constitute a "whispering campaign " ?
please log in to view this image Now we know why poor Ally was given hardly any money to spend on players.
Poor Rangers, if they were a decent well run club who had got into financial difficulties we would all feel sorry for them. The fact, that they cheated and bullied their way to countless league titles, by promising among other things, to pay players wages they could not afford and in doing so have cheated the poor people of the Uk of vital benefits they were entitled to. Many a poor family, and many poor pensioners would be better off today only for Rangers blatant deceiving of taxes due. Rangers and other clubs, not yet accused and named have brought shame to their Britishness. Of course the eminent Campbell Og, our Football league was very much involved with Rangers when their deception was in full swing. Will he resign now ? Not likely !!
