As i've mentioned before, I work next to Ibrox for a company that is populated by Rangers fans (ratio of 26:1). They range from guilt-by-association, to being die-hard Lodge members arranging bus trips etc. One of the more mild-mannered suppiorters is our QA Manager and his ma worked for Rangers in the Hospitality Suite for 16 years, up until last year when she was offered, and accepted, a redundancy package. Well, he's just been bounding about the office ranting because his ma went to the job centre for whatever reason, and it's transpired that Rangers have no record, material or computerised, of her having worked there at any point in her 16 year role. To be honest, i'm still hazy on the details but the MD was ranting about it being "...a story for The Record...". Probably means it's s****. Hope it's not though.
Aye, she is a Ger too. What a kick to the **** that is. Would have brought her balls right up to her throat. Part of the Rangers family, turning up for work on time, supporting the team, doing your bit....to then find out after 15 years you don't even exist to them. hahahah OUCH. Mind, work's been a bit like a funeral the past week, especially with all those Stig Of The Dumps weeping and wailing outside The Doors To Hell. See that walloper with his big bouncy castle banner couldn't even pump it up because his stolen generator needed more stolen fuel.
