GOAL: #BristolCity 0-1 Rangers - Macleod 63

Daly robs Carey on the touchline and Little crosses to present sub Macleod with an easy finish.

    Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 7s

The game bursts into life as Burns races clear but slots his shot wide of the far post.

So much for them saying they could sell 10-15,000 tickets for this game I believed they would sell their allocation and there would be some in the home sections as well

If the first choice for the season is what was picked today we are in trouble where are Moloney and Cunningham, and to have 'bloody useless I can't stand up and tackle head or even do a good block most of the time' Fontaine in the team is asking for us to ship goals plus Kilkenny and Wilson on the bench god help us. S O'D I don't know what your fascination is with Fontaine but he has been crap for the better part of 2 years.

Not a cat in hells chance with the best players left out and players out of position with Fontaine Wilson and Kilkenny in the squad.

    Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 50s

Sean O'Driscoll says he saw more positives than negatives in the defeat to Rangers.

    Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 39s

O'Driscoll looked a 3-5-2 due to lack of full backs, Cunningham and Moloney left out on precaution.

    Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 3s

Pearson (ankle) and Elliott (knee) both likely to miss team trip to Spain due to injury

    Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 7s

Albert Adomah will not go to Spain after his transfer request.

    Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 1m

O'Driscoll would like Adomah situation sorted as soon as possible, ideally by the time the team come back from Spain.

That's Weird yesterday Elliott was supposedly having his first game today after a rest no mention of an injury to him or Cunningham or Moloney but I suppose typical no one tells the fans anything at AG.

Fontaine to me today didn't look to bad alongside Flint, also Wilson didn't have a bad game. Carey had a nightmare start what he was doing was beyond me gifted them the goal.
We looked well organised in the first half, but disorganised the second. Can't judge too much because both teams didn't bust a gut running in this heat. And fair play to the ref when there was an injury in both halves he stopped the game so they could get refreshments.

It felt like their support outnumbered city and that rangers were playing at home.

Lansdown must think why he bothers when only 4000 can be arsed to turn out.

Bit of an embarrassing day shows up what many of us know about how small time city are.
