Depends why he rejected us, Spurs may have made promises to him which if not kept could mean he might still join us. So maybe not a rejection but a preferred option, can't blame him for that.
Bit unfair. He's been at Spuds for a long time, is a fans favourite and recently handed the club captaincy. Big wrench to leave. Would hope to see some of our players have that commitment too. Good player who could add to the squad. January a way away - who knows what will happen or what our priorities will be by then. Wouldn't discount him as an option though.
Now that MH has got in a number of players to make sure we do a lot better than last season, the only way forward now to to build further with younger players. Samba, yes. Dawson, no.

Dawson didn't want to leave Spurs after just being made captain, another one of AVB's strange decisions followed by him being kept, you can't blame him for making things awkward. If AVB still wants to get shot of him he'd be a good addition to our squad. I don't think Samba is a realistic option now, he's established in the Anzhi team and they are challenging at the top of the Russian League and in the UEFA League. I think we'll have to look elsewhere...
