    SPFL2 (Championship), Saturday 19/12/2015 : Falkirk 2-1 Rangers

That was a good open game, pity about the result, but fair play to Falkirk, I do not begrudge them their win today.
There were two dubious penalty decisions, Falkirk scored theirs but Waghorn's on-target effort for Rangers was saved - not 'missed' !
Both sides had their goalkeepers and the woodwork to thank for keeping the score down today.

    Attendance : 7,488 (SSN)

Match Report : Rangers FC - Falkirk 2-1 Rangers

Manager's verdict : Rangers FC - Second Half Start Angers Boss

    SPFL2 (Championship), Monday 28/12/2015 : Rangers 4-2 Hibernian

That was more like a Cup-Tie than a League match, end to end, full of strong tackling, very entertaining and with the right result. Rangers should appeal against the Red Card issued to Halliday, the referee was conned.
Even down to 10 men Rangers still had the beating of Hibernian.

    Attendance : 49,995 (SSN)

Match Report : Rangers FC - Rangers 4-2 Hibernian

Manager's verdict : Rangers FC - Warbs: Players Were Outstanding

    SPFL2 (Championship) results, Christmas 2015 :

Raith Rovers v Alloa Athletic - postponed, weather, to 12/01/2016.
    St Mirren 1-4 Livingston

    Monday 28/12/2015

Great display from Rangers today. Thought the team played excellent fast flowing football. Their closing down of Hibs in the first half was a joy to behold.

So pass marks for everybody except Wilson and Miller. Wilson was shocking. He put us under undue pressure by giving the ball away far too often. What has happened to this guy, he struggles even to control the ball. He is a far cry from the title winning Hearts captain he was last season.

Miller was just.....Miller. His first touch is terrible and he squandered chance after chance. Sure he gives you 100% and will chase lost causes all day long but most of the lost causes are because the ball has just bounced offor him.

Holt and Waghorn, Wallace and McKay were excellent. A timely return to form of Tavernier as well today.

The ref was ****ing awful. Fyfie conned him and deliberately did so to get Halliday sent off. From the angle the ref saw it he can have the benefit of the doubt for that one. Throughout the game though he totally ignored Hibs players leaving the foot in or going through the back of Rangers players. Henderson should have been off the park for a studs up, straight leg lunge at Wallace. That was just five minutes after he should have been booked for coming in late on the same player.

The red could still stand for the kick out though maybe. Depends what the ref put in his report.

Yeah wee Andy wasn't totally innocent, but Fyvie was well out of order, he was like a wee mini-me Kyle Lafferty.

Walter Smith came out and condemned Lafferty after that incident. Pity Alan "never dodges a question" Stubbs couldn't do the same.
