http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-18211947 Not the wisest move and one certainly to attract the attention of UEFA.
They mentioned it on SSN ten mins ago too. Aren't they just making things worse for themselves, or is that impossible?
It's a PR exercise from Duff & Phelps to try and deflect from all the negative attention they've had. They're trying to make it appear that they're fighting for Ranger's corner. Keep in mind this wont cost the administrators a penny.
Could cost us our place in the champions league qualifiers as well as scotland's place in the world cup qualifiers.
Don't think Rangers are in a position to take Scottish football on in a court , just say they did win it ( no chance ) the powers of Scottish football will just dump them to the bottom of div 3 , then they could buy whoever they want !!!
I don't see them backing down though as they have to legally fight the clubs corner, as administrators. I can see uefa having to step in and expel rangers from the league.
It better not affect us but i suppose it's the rangers way, if im going down im taking everyone with me.
the SFA have already decided to take serious action against rangers and this legal action is not going to prevent it. If they can't shackle rangers by this method then they will just find another way. I can't see this doing any good and I'm already doubting what's going on between whyte, green and D&P. whyte was desperate to get D&P as administrators and D&P were desperate to get green as preferred bidder. it's looking more and more like they're all in this together, otherwise why wouldn't D&P have chosen the rescue deal with the really big money that offered to pay everything off and still have plenty of investment money left. maybe the harshest penalty that the SFA could give rangers would be to let D&P carry on as administrators.
What a waste of money. If I was stupid enough to have paid my money into the RFFF I would be spitting feathers over this.
The administrators are also now under investigation from the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA)
