There have been rumours going round for a number of weeks now about Rangers running out of money and not just because of the tax case against HMRC.

Most people, including myself, have taken these rumours with a pinch of salt but the story is starting to grow arms and legs. I remember watching the Scottish BBC news a couple of weeks ago in the run up to the now infamous documentary and the reporter, in what seemed like nothing more than a throwaway comment, remarked that Rangers could simply run out of cash. No more was added to the comment.

Now it looks like there is a very real possibility that Rangers could simply run out of cash.

These are very worrying times for Rangers and the fans. A lot of us questioned Whyte's motives when he took over the club but were shouted down as jealous taigs or simple WUMs.

The Rangers fans can continue their "heads-in-the-sand" routine all they like but they were warned by their former Director to be vigilant. It seems that early success in the league has forced them to take their eye off the ball.
 
On a serious note I think they plan to run out of cash if the lose the tax case, they will have had the perfect amount to see them until the result is announced.

No point putting up say £10m spending £5m losing the case and £5m is eaten up before administration. So you have £5m and keep the other £5m in your pocket if you lose the case you keep the £5m go into administration. You win the case and announce a fresh £5m investment.

As far as Wonga goes, it's ironic that they sponsor Hearts - a club who regularly fail to pay their players.

What's this? Squiggy posting on the Celtic board? The same squiggy who threw a hissy fit yesterday about us posting on the Rangers board even though the threat was on both boards.

My complaint was not about Celtic supporters in general posting on the Rangers board. It was prompted by the quality of 2 of the posts shortly before mine. Not only was the content a load of ****e, but the standard of English would have shamed a 7 year old.

I was just pulling your leg. You're more than welcome to post on the Celtic board and post your pictures when Celtic lose a goal.
