The way I see it we are currently at this:

Newco Rangers leaves behind its debt AND its history. Can't have your cake an eat it.

Or Rangers Oldco gets the CVA, keeps its history but will be carrying the burden of the FTT.

The SPL face a dilemma. Allow newco Rangers in and face the wrath of fans or reject them and pass it to the SFL and division three.

The SFA have to uphold sporting integrity as the eyes of the worlds well UEFA at least, are on Scotland.

Also we have other issues not being highlighted enough by the media:

The change in the tax law which helps HMRC retrospectively chase up debts bybfollowingnthe assets and preventing newcos running away from their debts.

Darlington in England facing the same as Rangers but taking their medicine and looking at demotion.

Scottish football WILL survive with Rangers in SPL. Remember the 1980s? Or as a caller said how many teams who have been relegated to the SFL have went bust without 4 home games against Rangers AND Celtic? None.

No, the media have their own agenda and spout rubbish and spin to suit.

Football without fans is nothing. And as I'm sure everyone knows it was a certain Jock Stein who said that. Doncaster and Reagan should take note of that famous phrase as I really believe Celtic fans, Aberdeen fans, Hearts et al will fight this if fair play is not adhered to.

As for Bill Miller, who knows? Asset stripper?

Talking of stripping, if the EBT case is proven against Rangers, even if Oldco is liquidated by then, UEFA should see to titles being stripped from a team who will have been found to cheat.

And will Sandy Jardine be pulled up the the authorities for threatening fans and clubs, with the most incendiary language I've ever heard?

Time to clean the game up and a chance for the authorities to prove once and for all our game is not corrupt and biased towards one team.

    I'm not holding my breath.
