The Tims are ****ing themselves into a stupor regarding Rangers alleged plight, and who can blame them, to be worse than us at the moment must be depressing for even the most ardent Tim. But when you cut through the ****e, here is what I see. We've known about the alleged Tax irregularities for some time now, we knew when SDM was at the helm, that there was going to be a case to answer, and we knew about the potential size of the problem. When SDM was in charge, we all thought that the impending Tax case was going to scupper any sale of the club, because any interested party was going to look at the potential size of the Tax Bill and run a mile. But Craig Whyte's came in and he's went ahead with the acquisition of the club and took over the liabilities that the club may or may not owe. The fact that he's not paid certain bills that the old regime may have agreed to pay doesn't bother me at all, that's perfectly sensible, in my opinion, that he makes sure that he and Rangers are getting value for money, and he may be wanting to piss off, or fire a shot over the bows of anyone thinking that he's going to be the cash cow that Rangers have been in the past. So, here we are, we've got a new owner who's made his money from acquiring failing businesses and turning them round. Surely that's a good thing for Rangers, because, should we lose the case, then we've got the perfect candidate in charge to go about restructuring the business so we can continue on? Ok, we may have a few barren years, but at least the club survives, and who's to say that Celtic will capitalise on our short-comings? They've failed miserably in the past given the opportunity to bury us. Also, Craig Whyte, David Murray and their independent tax advisors all reckon that we've got a decent chance of not owing the HMRC a bean. They may be wrong, they may be right, but only time will tell. (Ps - I was driving to my 5's last night and some stupid Tim was on Snyde demanding that the Sun and Daily Record put a cracked Rangers crest on the papers Why the **** is that so important to these brain-dead ****s? ) please log in to view this image
Putting the tax issue aside, Whyte has stated that you need to trim 6 or 7 million from the budget. How's he going to achieve that?
To busy phoning Girvans work, Moderating here, posting on JA606 along with making Salmonds lettuce tea?
I can't be bothered. If Girvan got himself into trouble with his work that's his fault. It had **** all to do with me. And yes I do work for Alex Salmond
