Nile Ranger was in the arms of the law once again when this pic was taken.

    Foolio:
    Outkast?

Following a spate of recent incidents that have left him with a trio of court dates in the coming days, it's now claimed that the fate of Nile Ranger as a Newcastle player be decided by club officials this coming week.

The 20 year-old striker is less than one year into a five and a half year contract at St.James' Park but has failed to appear in the first team this season, after several breaches of club discipline and tangles with the law.

Depending on the wording of his contract, termination could be one option, but it could be argued that making Ranger a free agent would benefit him by leaving him available to find a new club.

It's conceivable that his end game could be to achieve that, but that would require him to possess some intelligence - something he's hardly shown an abundance of to date....

Shame really. Think all of us agree he's got bags of talent which we don't wanna lose. But he's such a tool. **** it, do what they want. Free agent or terminate his contract. Either way, we're hardly short on striker coverage if we're going for Maiga AND De Jong.

Hes had wayyy too many chances for me, ive literally lost count of the amount of times hes been acting like a 'Ghetto Badbwoy' and surely any other club would have got rid by now. Its not even like hes a first team player or anything so why the hell is he still here?

5* Tool. I liked him until late late last season but he's been on self-destruct ever since.

Is he really any good AB? I haven't seen enough of him to tell, but Best and Ba with Sammy A seem to be well established now. Until Shola returns of course... :)

I can't think of a single team that would pay for him so we're not losing anything. Maybe a future sell-on fee, but he'll end up in jail soon so no worries there.

Caused havoc when he came on in the 4-4 against Arsenal. Good pace, good strength, decent shot on him, has a magic chest of sponge (Setting up Nolan for that shot that almost went in? Brilliant play). Absolutely fantastic and completely stands out in the reserves. Just can't ****in' score in the first team (See; West Ham game). And he's the biggest tool in the world. Waste of talent, absolute waste.

    He's no Sammy, though ;)

The trouble is Sid, he has got a good game in him but he's too much trouble off the field.

Clean his act up a bit and he could do a job for almost anybody. Doesn't look as it it'll be for us.

With the right attitude he could have been very good. Has pace, power, trickery and willingness to run at the defender, scored for fun in reserves/U-18s but never found composure in the first team. Not to mention the world-against-me complex and idiotic behaviour.

blackpool bid for him in the summer but he turned them down and no one has shown an interest (more than likely his off field antics put people off) so it looks like ashley would let him go for nowt just to be shot of him

I didn't think any footballer could have legs more match-stick like than Peter Crounch, but our Sammy beats him there! At least he's got some decent pace and tricks.

Always bad when that happens. Sounds like Kieron Brady at our place about 20 years ago. Amazing talent, but a bit of a knob.

With more aptitude he'd be a really good player but he's seemingly happier acting the big man with his mates then he is about his football career.

    Get rid.
