Ranger and flashing blue lights and sirens.

Just picked this up from NUFC.com, poor old Nile in trouble again.

The misadventures of Nile Ranger part 43 - at least this time the flashing blue lights weren't on a police car....

Soccer ace Nile Ranger was rushed to hospital with a horrific 12-inch gash to his arm after he fell during a night out.

The Newcastle striker needed 21 stitches when he cut his upper arm on a metal shard as he climbed over a fence to retrieve a football.

Friends ran to his aid after the accident near his home in Wood Green, North London.

A pal said: “His arm was pouring blood. One of the lads wrapped his T-shirt around his arm but it was quickly soaked in blood.

“It was a very nasty wound. It gave me the shivers. It was shocking.”

Ranger, 21, was taken to North Middlesex Hospital by ambulance.

Last night Ranger said:

“I’ve just got to be thankful it wasn’t worse. The nurses were fantastic with me and I’d like to thank them for doing a great job stitching my arm back up. Hopefully I can invite them to a game and return the favour.” I know what favour he'll be after.

 

Right who the hell is this lad and what have they done with gun toting Nile!

This was reported about 10 days ago. For a minute there thought we'd had another episode.

 

Didn't hear about it the first time around, mustn't have been given much space. The club trying to keep things quiet so as not to put clubs off that might be interested in him?

Nile: more court action than Andy Murray

Tuesday sees what is expected to be a two or three day trial get underway at Newcastle Crown Court, when Nile Ranger answers a total of four charges.

The 21 year-old United striker, is charged with two counts of assault and and two of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on the same night in August 2011.

Ranger is alleged to have clashed with two men in the Bigg Market area of Newcastle, which led to the ABH charges. The subsequent assault charges then arose from two police officers attempting to question him about the earlier incident. He denies all four charges.

Since the alleged offences took place, Ranger has appeared in court accused of three other offences: admitting a charge of drunk and disorderly, admitting a breach of bail conditions imposed in connection with the assault charges and admitting drink-driving.

He also landed himself with an FA fine after a comment he made on Twitter was deemed to be homophobic.

Last word to the man himself (11 starts and 47 sub outings for NUFC, 3 goals), from his Twitter account:

"NOBODY cares until you have MADE it"

 

His own worst enemy.

Maybe one day he will make it and somebody might care!

 

Such a pity when those with talent let it go to waste like this lad seems to be doing. Especially when there are thousands of others who would love have the ability and opportunity. I sometimes wonder what goes on in his head - but then again, I'm not sure I want to delve too deep.

 

Imagine Ranger to Rangers..

 

Can't stand the lad, the sooner we are rid of him the better, the raw talent and potential is there but he is seeming unwilling to utilise it.

I remember a while back with an interview with Lovenkrands, where he said that he had took an interest in Nile and was trying to train with him to improve him but Ranger didn't want to put in the extra graft outside of training obviously because he thinks hes already made it.

We don't need players like that at our club, I hope he ends up homeless sucking cock for cheap cider.
