aye got canccelled at the last minute, ended up just sittin ma mates drinkin n sniffin ****e ching. got the prodigy the mora but so no too bothered
Some guy nearly died at the Dundee gig last night. Daft **** fell of a balcony. Only a Dundonian, no great loss eh? Wish I had some ****e ching. ****ing safety meeting for the whole platform because some daft ****s have injured themselves since Jan 1st. Some fanny smacked his hand with a hammer Some cock-donkey pulled a door over his own bare foot getting out the shower and cut his foot badly Some spastic didn't secure some gratings and they landed on another guy and ripped all the ligaments in his leg Some ****-wit didn't clean the Biocide out of a pump and when they moved the pump it sprayed in his face So I have to watch an hour-long presentation about Piper Alpha. What the **** does a platform blowing-up have to do with these complete ****ing morons. The Piper Alpha was caused by dodgy equipment and lax rules. Not morons
aye a heard about that ****, he's ****ed a hink. **** that man, bet it ruined the full gig. they should jst make the dumb ****s who ****ed up watch it.
Aye, well cheerful Saturday night I'm going to have. Seeing pictures of mutilated feet and burning platforms and hearing about hundreds of guys who work in the same environment as me getting burned alive or drowning. At least we got to air our grievances about safety afterwards. I ****ing tore strips off the management and pretty much called them hypocrites. Thank **** I don't actually work for the company that owns the platform or I reckon I'd be getting my jotters as soon as I **** up. Gagging for a pint, a joint and a line now. Usually only do 15 days. Been here 18 now, still got 2 left.
Aye, pretty good considering I do **** all. Some of my mates are earning bucket-loads but they've been offshore for 6 or 7 years now. I've only been working offshore for 3. But they do difficultor dangerous jobs too. My job is a piece of piss though. My degree is in Marine Biology. I'd never heard of Condition Monitoring before I did my BOSIET and medical.
