I've just learned about the athlete Dina Asher-Smith.

I have a new favourite athlete.

If (don’t think they will lose) wales win with no bonus point next time out and England win with Bonus point
    Who wins the six nations
Does it go on head to head or points difference

It would be typical of modern sport if a team winning the Grand Slam didn't win the 6 Nations. Bonus points really don't serve any purpose. The rivalries couldn't be any fiercer. Not that they could lose any head to head obviously.

Yeah... almost sure the GS wins it because of that ..

What do you think of the idea of the Nation's Cup... my Union weirdly doesn't like it ... I can see why a Scotland or Italy wouldn't but surely to make Northern Hemisphere more competitive a promotion relegation situation has to be right ... smacks of PL type we like it as it is type ****e

It does, it makes the games watchable. Bonus point is to encourage teams to go for Tries. If you think back to about 5 years ago team we're just kicking and trying to win penalties, made for turgid games.

It has to. It would make no sense for a team that had won all its games not win the tournament.

A bit too soon to tell about the Nation's Cup I think. Quite a few players have come out against it as there are already issues with players playing too much rugby. It will largely be about money in the end I expect.

But it does render the bonus points absolutely pointless doesnt it as they cant actually enable you to win anything.
Ftr completely agree the GS should trump it, also agree teams have started trying to get the tries for the bp. However if you cant actually benefit by having them - why bother ?

On above..... grand slam was agreed to be 3 extra bonus points. Thus no matter how many bonuses and scores a tieam with 4 wins has it cant touch grand slam.

The thing imo is the minute Schmidt said he was going that lot fell apart. How the **** their half backs and healey were not hailed off at ht I don't know.

All Wales did was front up and kick the result mass of easy points.

Grand slam winners get three bonus points,so as to stop teams winning the 6 nations with bonus points.

Bottas wins first GP of the season down under by a good distance

Nothing has changed much from last season on the evidence of that race

hamilton "excuse" is a broken part of rear floor for him falling off pace after pit stop.

    ferrari have no such excuse.

this season is already over. hamilton will win it by a country mile with bottas second.

ferrari to implode by race 5 in political.infighting imo

Hamilton was way behind Bottas which was unusual so maybe there's something in that, who knows

Not looking great for Ferrari I agree, shows how little testing means as a judge of performance

Most disappointing thing for me is the racing overall seems just like the last several seasons, the regulation changes haven't really changed anything or made the racing tighter or closer

Up side of that is it means Hamilton can get one or two more championships before the more wholesale rule changes come in with totally redesigned cars, after which hopefully the landscape of the sport and the racing completely changes

I'm an F1 fan and will always take an interest or watch races but this era is testing fans to the max with the processional nature and lack of on track action

it's a street sort of circuit but for me it was clear cars were struggling to keep within Drs range.

the first half of race was a fight over 12 place with Norris behind an alpha....

in short; ok its a street circuit but it looks no better than last year.

for.me ferrari have produced a nice dull predictable car which handles fine but it's quick. they've gone the opposite way to Merc and red bull and their baby teams.have done same.

the problem for me is the airflow from front wing determines the rest of the aero package back along car so it's not going to improve.

the gap this year between hamilton and vettel was bigger than last year.

I was expecting at least 0.3 between teams after p3 as hamilton was 1.3s faster than last year and vettel 1.0s but.... the gap was.massive and both Merc drove away from ferrari.

100% sure fire put your house and life savings on hamilton.

I hate Schumacher and would love nothing more than Hamilton to smash all his records... Or if not Hamilton, almost anyone else.
