Chris Ramsey deserves the chance to work with his own squad of players thus starting the rebuilding prosess. Give him a one year contract, build the squad around McCarthy, Furlong, Robinson, Faulin and Doughty. If we can keep two from Onuoha, Phillips, Sandro and Fer then that would be a huge bonus but I suspect they are sold already. We need to begin developing a strong defending, fast attacking, accurate (9+ passes in a row) passing style NOW! The energy throughout the whole club desperately needs to change now, not only physically but mentally too. Been too much of the same boring, ambitiousLESS football for four years now ! The time for change is now. The End!

I will keep out of it 999's as it pure sentimental garbage and ignores the facts. Some of the yes men may get upset. I have had my say on Ramsey.

I've said my bit on Ramsey too.

I just hope that the management team are already working on who will stay or go, getting a sensible wage structure in place and working towards a solid pre-season.

No reason to leave it until July, whoever is in charge.

I got no problem with Ramsey doing another year, though maybe he needs a more experienced Director of Football than Les seems to be . But he or whoever is Manager is going to need more experience and quality than the players you mention else we'll be in League 1 before you can say Jack Robinson.

One is hoping Sandro takes his lovely family on a permanent world tour holiday .................as far away from our team if possible.
He may come across as a 'nice guy' but his lack of value, not to mention his constant injury toll for us over the past 12 months must surely place him in the 'not anymore bin'.

Multi-million crocks with good hearts won't get us anywhere. We really need to smarten up with who we buy and how old they are.
Sure, if it was possible to find ourselves a Kevin Phillips ......... great but his type don't come around too often.

As I've said elsewhere, I don't see Ramsey cutting the mustard BUT ............... I will support him 100% if appointed, until he proves otherwise.
I'll even eat double helpings of humble pie if proven wrong. I hope he succeeds but I won't be holding my breathe till then.

Can we please retire Bond .................... even Roger Moore had to pack it in eventually.

Ramsey presided over the game on Sunday which, for Man City, was little more arduous than kick about after training. We were a disorganised shambles. Few of the players seemed to be trying. That much was obvious from the MOTD lowlights. So, that's a "no" for his organisational and motivational abilities.

Less obvious on MOTD was that, according to the Times, he played 3 at the back, away to the team in second place, a system of which we have little experience. And, two goals later, after it clearly hadn't worked, he didn't change it (The Times, again). So, that's a "no" for his tactical acumen.

During his time in charge, he has made some truly bizarre selections and used equally baffling tactics, on a par with the worst that Harry's tombola produced. (E.g. Henry at WB, plus four CB's, against West Ham at home.) So, that's a "no" on the basis of team selection.

On the evidence that we fans see, it's hard to make a case for him continuing, unless you place a higher value than me on his undoubted eloquence and decency, and his unproven reputation as a coach.

At the end of the day there are no guarantees whoever is in charge. We've had five different managers in charge since we got back into the Premiership and none of them managed to work it out.
I just feel that Ramsey deserves his chance based on the fact he got us playing (for most of the games) with more determination and character. The squad is desperately low on quality and indivual ability, surely one of the most basic footballing requirements is to be able to control, feel comfortable with AND to be able to pass the ball between and to YOUR OWN TEAM MEMBERS often enough so as to make the opposing team work a little harder ultimately creating more chances and building team confidence. So with that element clearly lacking, there was only so far the team could ever progress. Add to the fact injuries and disharmony it was an almost impossible task. Give him a clean slate of players, then let's see what he can do! !

I would argue that the standard of football other then one or two games against teams in terrible form actually got worse under Ramsey then Radknapp, he had his chance and blew it as far as I am concerned. If he wants to be a manager he needs to drop down to league 1 or 2 and work his way up by proving himself as competent, we've spent too long gambling with our long term future to take another risk like Ramsey. For me we need to snap up Warburton ASAP, if we were to take a gamble I would much rather Clement then Ramsey!

Jesus Christ, are you for real? This club has made some monumental cock ups in recent years, appointing Ramsey full time would be another. While he might be a very competent coach, that is all he is.The transition from coach to manager is not always fruitful, and some guys aren't meant to managers(I'm thinking,McClaren,Steve Clarke and the greatest of all,Peter Taylor),they're just excellent coaches. We ****ed up(again) last year, when we should have sacked Harry before the season started, and appointed Pulis who was available at the time.We are very fortunate, that Brentford to their disgrace are getting rid of Warburton, this is a massive chance for us to get him in a.s.a.p.This guy has a tremendous future infront of him as a manager, his teams play attractive attacking football and with a spirit our team can only dream about. So please Tony, don't add to all of the mistakes made already, use your head and not your heart and appoint the right man for the job!

I'd have Clint Hill as a central defender in the Championship.

We want success and we want it now

Why not CR? IMO he got a side out of a load of junk that ran most close under his charge

The bloke has energy and a pedigree of being a good coach ... In the media he looks brilliant IMO

Can't see why he shouldn't get it
The model of buying in a manager and a team for QPR looks the wrong way IMO

I hope he gets the job and builds a side because we currently do not deserve to be at the top table with this set of club management

CR is comes across as a good man and seeing as he has all his badges is a proven coach. He did have the team playing for him up until a few weeks ago, but judging from recent performances this seems to have evaporated. Has he been found out I wonder? Have some of his odd selections and tactics undermined his credibility with the senior players? Maybe.

It seems that Les will make the decision as to who our next Manager will be and that is right as the board need to be guided by a football man; what needs to be clear at the outset though is the boards expectations in the short-mid term. Are they banking on a quick return? Or are they willing to see a top to bottom restructure and settle for 3-5 years in the Championship? Interesting times ahead.

I think Barton is a potential future manager; but I have never gone with the player manager thing. I think there needs to be a line between the players and the manager.
