£12m looks an awful lot of money for Bony.

Disagree absolutely - really like Bony, we looked far more dangerous when he and Pozuelo came on. Yep - £12 million is a lot of money but he is scoring goals and providing assists! As for Ramsey - I was getting very agitated with the repeated booing of him; class players like him thrive on that ****! Castigated a couple of the booer's around me and was proved right when he responded by setting up, and then scoring a goal! Think the 12th man was counter productive where Aaron was concerned!

But don't worry about us Stevoldhino - we'll be OK! Great win for you yesterday though - really bossed it and Mutch's winner was absolute class!

 

I know you lot will be fine this season. Just haven't seen anything from Bony that makes me think he's going to work out for you. I didn't see the Arsenal game as I was driving home.

He looks very clumsy and his touch has been poor. I can see he's a lump and his finishing looks pretty solid.
I think he'll score Pl goals just don't know how well he'll fit in. It's why I made the carrol comparison, if he ever gets fit he'll score for WH but he'd never have fitted in to LFC's new style.

 

What about us with our £9m one for the future in Cornelius, i know he's injured and all that, but how will he get anywhere near the team when he is fit ?

 

I am not convinced Fraizer is really the man to drive our season home , so I would expect Cornelius to be given a chance sooner rather than later!

 

I thought we paid 7.5m for Cornelius?

I agree with Temple that FC isn't nailed on for a season long starting spot. I think Maynard can pressure him.

Maynard's movement is first class and I don't know if anyone saw the quick turn and shot he got in second half (Fulham) but he's more likely to make something from nothing in and around the box imo. He's not as physical and FC is expected to run himself stupid for the cause when he starts.
