Hull City's Gaston Ramirez is facing an injury issue whilst away with the Uruguay national squad. Ramirez is currently on loan from Southampton and has been working to impress at Hull City, with varied results. During training with the national squad, Ramirez suffered an injury and was forced to leave the group. Uruguay's Republica explain that Ramirez suffered a strain of some kind to his thigh area and it was decided he'd have to go for medical tests. Another Uruguayan media outlet Tenfield say that doctors are still working through the results of scans and so no full diagnosis can be given yet, although it's not thought that Ramirez has suffered an obvious tear. The initial news will be of some relief to Hull City but there could be bad news waiting in the rest of the scans and the Premier League club will hope their player is handled with caution and not ushered back into training and matches if there's the slightest worry about the situation getting worse. Ramirez missed the Wednesday afternoon training session and instead sat in a plastic patio chair looking glum as his compatriots trained together. Hope he's ok !!!!
It hints it's only a slight tear, so long as he drops out of Uruguays games he should be fine for Swansea. Is Abel still in the squad?
