This is when I can actually say without hesitation I'm glad I was a child of the 70's. The Six Million Dollar Man had far more panache.
Still I bet 70's TV aimed at young boys had a hell of a lot less muscle-men with nae tops on than 80's kids had to endure.
What were those comics again we used to get? Commando was it? "gotten himmel" "nein, nein" "die eenglisher pig" all good clean family entertainment. and we all grew up to be so well rounded...........................................sort of. political correctness and health and safety - today's cop out for bone idle kids. don't know how we are are going to cope in future with millions in hospital with repetitive strain injury. I've only been using pc's for 28 years but my left hand side is now completely ****ed.
Strange you should say that. When I woke up with it 18 months ago that was my immediate reaction. I'm still not discounting it. It's getting progressively worser and worser by the day.
FFS, I was only joking as well. Is there no a thing called a "mini stroke" or did I make that up just now?
Yeah small war comics with soldiers called Taff,Jock,Paddy/Mick and die you infidel, dirty bosch, fritz, itie, jap Is it any wonder the NF was popular when kids were getting a xenophobic grounding from comics.
Think the term is mild stroke but yes you're right. People can have a stroke and not even know about it. The left hand side of my face is in correct alignment with the right hand side so I think I'm ok.
