We all know that GFH are trying to lure investors and also increase the attendances, and if we are up there or there abouts through out the season and seen to be pushing for promotion then all will be fine but what if this blip ( inconsistancy and we continue losing ) turns us into a lower or even mid table team, how long before the fans to start moaning and for GFH to replace Brian, he is well regarded everywhere and seems a nice guy to boot but that won't save him.
I think the first 6 league games will seal his destiny, I really think given time he can turn the club around but expectation will not allow him that luxury, so no pressure there then.
I am not a pessimist nor a WUM but a realist and I really hope he gets off to a flyer and the confidence inspired gets Red Bull or who ever to invest heavily in the team but I fear that we may struggle with the present team.
Lastly am I the only one to think it strange just how long this injury to Sam Byram is taking him to recover is there something they are not telling us? but on the positive side it is possibly taking the pressure off us to selling him.

Nah, I think he should have no expectation this season. This is a season of progress with next being the one where expectation will set in. If we are winning games and in the top 6 or even pushing from there then great but otherwise I would give him this season as long as we are not in ttrouble at the wrong end but I really can't see that

If we finish top half of the table (7th to 8th), hold on to Byram, Murphy proves his worth and we see Poleon break through in a spectacular way then I will say it is a step forward and it would meet my expectations. For a change we would have gone through a season without any sales of a captain or key figure and we would have a platform next year to push on from.

I have to agree, why would we want to go straight up to come straight back down !!, a nice settled yet exciting season would be great after the **** we have endured for a decade , regardless of a meaningless friendly I am feeling positive about LUFC for the first time in years and steady growth through youth and a couple of good signings is the way forward no more doom and gloom, M.O.T

We knew it didn't work a long time ago. Unfortunately a certain papa smurf seems to believe that's "progress" and how you succeed.

We can't judge McDermott until he has his own players in place. This looks like it is going to take longer than we expected.

Warnock's players have a bad attitude! We were more in danger of getting relegated last season than getting promoted.

How is it that they could lift themself to play well last season against premiership teams in cup games and then come out in a league game full of lethargy? The answer is that they probably never gave a fcuk if they made the premiership or not. Some of them have been there and got the t-shirt and have made plenty of money.

McD needs to be given a season or two to build a young hungry team who wants success for Leeds United. That just is not going to happen overnight.
All this moaning about this and that is not going to change the facts that we are a long way off from where we need to be if we want to challenge for a premiership place and have a good chance of staying up there.

I have faith in McD. He is the right man for the job. I am pretty confident GFH see it that way as well and won't make any stupid decisions based on some moronic fans who think we have a god given right to win the league.

If anything, we better hope McD sticks with us because we need to repay his faith in us by giving him 100% support.
