The former Newcastle defender spent time on loan with the Eagles and Birmingham City last season but has put pen to paper with the south London club. Ramage told his Twitter followers: "Finally put the old autograph to paper on permanent deal at CPFC. Couldn't be more happy to be back at eagles (sic), can't wait for the season." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Happy for him. Always did his best for us and a real "tryer", deserves a decent career.
Shame its with Palace though. Cant say anything against a player that will play on for 20 mins with torn knee ligaments. contrast that with Hall who asked to come off every twinge he gets.
Yep, always liked him for his effort and he was actually quite good when he was finally used in his genuine position, CB.
Hope it goes well Mr ramage, you are all that is good about the modern day footballer. A real pro....
Given that integrity is the quality many appreciate most in PR, why does the author resort to the word. 'claim'? Says it twice too.
I will always applaud a player that gives his all for a club on and off the pitch, I dont know if many of you know but when peter was injured he did loads for qpr in the comunity visiting schools etc. And, despite lets be honest limited ability,he gave his all when he played.most of the time out of position at rb. so good luck and best wishes Mr Ramage.
he replied to me on twitter earlier. he said he'll come back to loftus rd as often as he can. his injury basically ended his QPR career but he was still a big influence in the dressing room. he'll never be a legend but will still have good things said about him.
Good luck Peter. You always gave a 110% and it showed. You did care about the Badge and you will always have a warm welcome at Loftus Road. Best of British to you - quite a bit of that floating around at present.
